Oceans from Sweden releases their fourth album this year. The
style of the music of ...And Oceans is best to describe as
a mix of melodic death metal and electro with black metal
vocals. The music isn't only modern, but it's also much
wilder then the previous albums, something you don't
expect of Century Media their new label ( their previous
label was the underground Seasons Of Mist ). ...And Oceans
provoke pop and new wave on their own way and including
technic Swedish metal without getting commercial. The
great intro 'Intelligence Is Sexy' and the magnific 'Tears
Have No Name' are some high-lights. The producer Tommy
Tägtgren, also did Abyss, has done a good job. The only
thing is that the keyboards are very loud, and it just
sounds sometimes like the vocalist Killstar has to shriek
his balls off to hear himself!! Also the last song is
really fucked, dude. It's like a fucking house-mix!!!
