Dementor
already exists since the year 1988 and released only two
tolerable death metal albums. But in their home
country Slovakia they are one of the best and one of the
less death metal bands. Musical Dementor sounds a bit like
Morbid Angel, Deicide and Sinister. But with this new
album they also sound like Immolation. The songs 'Feeding
The Fire' and 'Death Is Coming' are examples of the song
with the most Morbid Angel influences that you almost
could clame Dementor of plagiarism. The song with the most
Immolation influence is 'Reborn Again'. And the singer
Rene Blahusiak also sounds like a mix of the vocals of
Ross Dolan and David Vincent with an accent. The drums
sound shitty it's very messed up, the drummer Milos Hornak
really doesn't sound like Pete Sandoval or Alex
Hernandez.
Conclusion:
Dementor are now on Osmose but this really isn't the best
album that they released....
