This
German band is already active since 1989 and plyed
together with Mayhem in Annaberg that was in 1990, later
also during the legendary concert of Mayhem in 1997.
Eminenz only released 3 cd's all were good quality. Also
'The Blackest Dimension' is, the successor of the previous
album 'Antigenesis' in 1998. The new album doesn't have
many suprising stuff, but every song includes something
seperating. The thirst song 'Exorials Return' is very fast
with death/black metal shit included, that slowly
transform to slower riffs with some good sounding
keyboards. The see themselfs as a Satanic death metal
band, but I see them more as a trendy black metal band
like the songs 'Voices' and 'Diabolical Majesty' this song
includes some good (old) Paradise Lost guitar riffs. And
further we hear a nice guitarsolo and viking-vocal to make
the album done. Eminenz isn't a band that shall take over
the world, but this album still is better than other
German bands in this genre.
