Can you tell me
something about the history of Houwitser?
We started in 1997...recorded a
promo,only for interested labels.In 1998 we signed with Displeased.We recorded 2
albums for them.The first was with ex Sinister singer Mike and we replaced him
for Arjaan"Djotzzz".Embrace Damnation was released in early October
2000. In Januari 2001 we signed with Osmose productions.
What does
Houwitser mean?
A Houwitser ia a middle distance canon used in wars!!!!
Are you satisfied with the band?
Yeah ofcourse..things are great..we play a
lot of gigs and fuck around so I'm really satisfied!!!
How
is the band now
doing?
We are busy with the writing proces for our new album which will be
released through Osmose productions and still doing a lot of gigs!!!
Can we expect an album in the future?
The plans are to record
that motherfucker in the late summer.You can expect some real brutal as fuck
death metal again.
Are you proud of the previous albums?
Ofcourse I'm
proud on the previous albums!!!Death but not buried and Embrace Damnation are
still highlights in the scene!!!
What can we expect more?
besides a new
album,tour,beer and vomit...nothing!!!!
Are there any projects involved
with the bandmembers?
Yep....Our drummer is in Sinister and Thanatos our
guitarplayer in Sinister,I'm in Thanatos and Judgement Day so we all are busy as
a motherfucker!
