Music Entertainment Lda is proud to announce their second
extreme metal signing by picking up the Polish giants Lux
Occulta unto their rooster. The label has taken the band for
their next two full length releases after the groundbreaking
release upon 1999 from Malevolence’s second album
“Martyrialized” that shocked the whole metal community due
to its diversity and extreme metal potential. Maquiavel Music
Entertainment Lda is preparing his full concentration upon the
release of this fourth full-length album from Lux Occulta with
full force during the upcoming months all over the Globe
including the release of their first European Tour since the
band inception. Lux Occulta is know nowadays for playing a very
creative occult form of metal including earth-shattering
progressive elements from both death/black metal extremity. The
first release from this recent gathering between the two parts
will be title “The Mother and the Enemy”. It is said to be a
more complex and diverse album than its predecessor “My
Guardian Anger” and will include the following songs, not yet
under the final order for the original release: “Mother
Pandora”, “Gambit”, “Architecture”, “Most Arrogant
Life Form”, “Pied Piper”, “Yet Another Armageddon” and
“Missa Solemnis”.
The band is set to enter on Studio 333 in Poland with
producer Bartek Kuzniak, the same individual responsible for the
final mastering of their previous “My Guardian Anger” album
as well as the latest album efforts for such diverse acts like
Vader, Decapitated & Dies Irae just to name a few. The
recording sessions shall begin during late March 2001 after two
Lux Occulta members will be back from their back support to
Vader’s Polish National Tour with their project Decapitated.
We do not have yet a final date for the release of the album
since that depends in the very brief meanwhile from some other
regular procedures. However, we can advance to all of you a
tentatively release date settled for Summer 2001. The album
“The Mother and the Enemy” will be license and exclusively
distributed over the Countries of Poland, Czech Republic,
Slovakia and Hungary via Maquiavel Music Entertainment Lda
professional alliance constricted with Mystic Production. This
identity will be responsible for the CD and MC formats and all
the future orders & requests regarding the original final
version for the Polish market & the above mentioned

Malevolence
is actually hard at work writing new material for their upcoming
third album yet without title. Their previous
“Martyrialized” effort still carves a major impact nowadays
on the underground metal scene and they are reaching out
approximate sales figures of 9800 copies sold all over the
World. Malevolence is still receiving a huge feedback from fans
and media and even after doing some hundreds of interviews all
over the World the interest unto the band keeps rising from day
to day keeping them pretty much active unto those promotional
matters almost two years since the release of their
“Martyrialized” album. The band is feeling very enthusiastic
about the way effects are turning out for the band lately and
Karlos Kariano press forward to the World: “Right now we are
in fact further interested in fixing ourselves unto the
composition of the new material. We had the chance to make some
interesting supporting European Tours to other major bands
lately but we have come to the conclusion that we will make that
only after the release from our third album upon late 2002.
There is in fact a huge demand from fans all over the World to
check the potential from the band at the live stages, however
for us the choice between making a Tour right now and the
compromise to compose the new material is obvious. We have been
rate zero out there in the International underground metal scene
until nowadays and we know that Maquiavel Music Entertainment
Lda pushed the band a lot unto recognition lately. Thus, we
prefer to blow out the work previously made on our previous
album and to attack humanity with another ferocious metal mayhem
assault before doing a major European Tour out there. It is a
great responsibility to go out there feeling 100% to give the
best we have for our fans as we are always damn serious about
everything we do. We know that the release of the third album
will push us even a step further giving us the chance to better
solidify our position unto the metal community all over the
World and Europe”. In other Malevolence related news we can
advance you that they are already working with an American
designer to accomplish the new breeding illustration for their
upcoming third album. They have all the main themes already
composed for the moment and Karlos assured us that the new album
will be even heavier and much more aggressive than
“Martyrialized”. They have about 15 new lyrics ready by now
and something like 4 tracks under arrangements for the very
brief moment. A reliable and professional Studio is on the works
between the band and the label but we do not have yet too much
information unto that matter to reveal. Even if the band is not
going to full commit them in the meanwhile to a major European
Tour they will make some short breaks unto the composition of
the new material to play some single shows in Portugal and some
other Countries in the upcoming weeks and months. For the very
brief moment they are set to play unto the fourth Repulsive
Metal Festival happening in Madrid/Spain between the 30th
and the 31st
March 2001. Other bands included on the bill will be Marduk,
Behemoth, And Oceans, Dornenreich,
Mystic Circle, Disgorge, and Sanatorium among others.

metal signing upon the label via constricting union with the sharp
razor death metal act Devileech. This Portuguese foursome act is
distinguish nowadays as one of the most extreme and vicious metal
musical attacks rising upon our National soil in recent times,
while many still consider them as thy golden concealed treasure
from our underground scene. Perpetually inclined toward
experimentation versus brutality the death metal combo Devileech
are nowadays producing an awfully penetrating & versatile
brand new type of extreme metal. Similarities might come to mind
when we think upon the work before now developed by other extreme
metal bands like Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Immolation or even
the vanished super metal group Carcass. However, we can
anticipate, thus assure that Devileech does possess their own
metal trademark and distinctive sound aside from all the ones
aforementioned so take them all just as a mere reference. With the
release of their debut album “Leechtron” they have settled the
devil uniting the leech musical transfiguration and even with a
great lack of support from their previous label they were able to
shock the underground metal community with their compulsory and
exquisite tuneful madness. With a new agreement consisting on the
release of their next two full-length albums throughout Maquiavel
Music Entertainment Lda, the band is ready to deliver their
catchiest, most powerful and diverse material to date. Nuno
Casola, the guitarist and one of the leading forces upon the band
deliver the goods on the recent achievements between the two
parts: “We made the rescission with our previous label
Discossete as we were feeling a great lack of support towards the
work we were accomplishing since we were represent by them. The
deal with Maquiavel Music Entertainment Lda comes real after many
contacts that we have established with labels to attempt and
elevate our musical ideals and maximums. Professionalism &
