Ravenous, a band full of some great musicians. We all know
Killjoy from Necrophagia, Chris Reifert from Autopsy and
Danny Lilker has the most he's in Brutal Truth, S.O.D.,
Anthrax, Nuclear Assault and Hemlock... a very busy man.
By recording 'Assembled In Blasphemy' had some gast
appearances of Clint Bower and Danny Coralles from Autopsy,
they will also appear on live-shows. All these guys have
their roots in the eighties at thrash/death metal bands.
'Assembled In Blasphemy' is a sick album, I think most of
the people that like The Ravenous are fans of Autopsy,
Necrophagia, Impetigo, old Bathory
and even fans of Melvins, because of the long, slow
riffs a good example of that is the song is 'Keep My Grave
Open'. The song lyrics also are very sick, not that you
hear good what they're screaming. With song titles like
'Dead Cut Up And Ready To Fuck' or 'Perverted Before
God'.
Conclusion,
it's a great album full of gore and sickness. For fans of Necrophagia,
Autopsy and Impetigo it is a perfect album.
