After the
previous, Polish Assault, they come with another cd with
Brazilian bands on it. This cd inlcudes 4 bands with some
of their demo tracks, split-cd and upcoming tracks. The cd
begins with songs of the brutal death metal band Abhorrence
tracks of the demo 'Triumph In Blasphemy'. The band
sounds much like Morbid Angel, I already knew this
band because of their mini-cd 'Ascencion' from 1998. I
hope this great band get's a full-length album soon. From Ophiolatry
I'm less impressed... The three songs on this cd are
from the demo 'Opposite Monarchy' from 1999. And you can
describe the music of the band as chaotic and very technic
death metal, god it's so fucked up! The sound of the
recordings are of a very low quality. Nephasth I
think also to go record a full-length album soon. This
pure and lumb death metal band à la Cannibal Corpse get's
four great songs on Brazilian Assault. The last band on
this cd is Mental Horror, this is one of the most
extreme bands on Brazilian Assault it sounds a bit like
the Mexican Disgorge and the Swedish Deranged.
This is a sick death/grind with a drummer that doesn't
drum with drumsticks but with axes and the vocalist sounds
like a growling sewer monster. Good cd with one fucked up
band on it, Ophiolatry...
